One of the judges walked me to the door, and Tyrese was called in next. After getting into my car and driving off, I took out my phone and called TJ.

"What's up? We still on for lunch?"
"Sure are you have any special place you want to go?"
"Nope not at all."
"How does Margianno's sound?"
"Sounds good I'm always in the mood for Italian."

"No, come by my house and we'll ride together. I need you to dress me."
She laughed. "Okay. I'm on my way."

Me and Taraji weren't a couple, but we've always had this chemistry ever since we started doing films together. We just kind of went together I never understood how, but I never questioned it.

Just as I was pulling into my driveway, I saw TJ parking her car. I parked behind her, got out of the car, and opened her door. "What up, Shug?" I said, calling her by the name of her character on Hustle and Flow.
She gave me a hug as she exited the car. "Hey, Terrence."
I led her into the house and up to my bedroom. "You know where the closet is," I said, smiling as I sat on my bed.

"I swear you are just like a baby." Taraji said.
"Yeah your baby." I laughed.
She pulled out a couple of emsembles for me to choose from down to the shoes.

"I like the black suit," I said.
"With what shoes?"
"The alligator skin."
"Okay." She put everything else back into the closet. "But before you go change..." She took off the jacket she was wearing, revealing the form-fitting, one-shoulder, colorful Roberto Cavalli dress. "You like?"

When I came back out, TJ was on the phone. Judging by what she was saying, she was talking to Marcell.
"I'll be home later on tonight," she said as she prepared to hang up. "I love you, sweetie. Bye." She looked at me as she put her phone away. "Look at you, handsome!"

I turned around smiling showing off my outfit and grabbed my keys. "You ready?"
"Sure am."
I took Taraji by the hand and led her out to my car.

I pressed a button to activate the TV's in my car and gave Taraji a stack of CDs to look through. She put on Baby Boy.

"I saw Tyrese today at my audition," I said.
"I've been meaning to call him. Maybe we can reenact some of my favorite scenes from the movie."
"Which scenes?"
"You know what scenes?"
"You know what scene I want you to do? Y'all should reenact that..." I took a second to put on my Taraji voice. " 'You said you'd never hit me, Jody!' "
"Shut up!" she said, punching me playfully.

We both laughed as I pulled up to the restaurant. We got out and I handed the valet my keys and took Taraji's arm as I went inside.

When we got inside, we were seated immediately and given the VIP treatment. Before we got our food or anything, we had taken and signed at least twenty pictures with fans.

Sometimes it was fun to show fans some love, but noe and then I liked to enjoy a quiet dinner.
