"Mr. Howard, I'll be sure to give you a call this weekend," Brian Monsieur said as he led me towards the door of the large building. "The part is almost definitely yours. Your audition was phenomenal."
"Thanks," I replied as we shook hands.
"By the way, I'm a huge fan."
"Thanks," I said again as I exited the building.
I climbed into my car and sat thinking for a moment before pulling off. That was the fourth movie I'd auditioned for that day, and every part had been 'almost definitely' mine.

I was determined to book at least two films, well that was my plan. I drove off and decided to go home and order Chinese tonight. I had one more audition tomorrow and I needed do a last minute read through of my lines.

I was especially excited about the lat audition. It was for the role I wanted the most.
When I got to my house, I took a long hot shower, then ordered the food.

I had sat down to chill when my phone started ringing. I looked at the caller I.D. and saw it was Taraji.
"Wassup."
"Hey Terrence how did your audions go?" She asked.

"You think you got any of the parts?"
"Yeah. How was your day?"
"Fine, I spent it with my son."
"Really? How is Marcell?"

"Goodnight, Terrence." She hung up, and I climbed into my bed.

The next morning I was up bright and early ready for my audition. My audtion wasn't until nine so I had enough time to read through my lines again. I made a cup of coffee and went out to my balcony to do my read through.

I was really feeling the character I was auditioning for. He reminded me of DJ from Hustle and Flow, so it was easy for me to get into the character.

I looked at the time and decided I'd better be on my way. I was looking good, smelling good, and feeling good. I hopped in my car a drove a few minutes down the road to the audtion.

The audition was at a studio down town, so I had a nice little drive before I arrived.

When I got inside everything was so organized. Everyone auditioning for the role I was were in a separate room and we were put into order by last names.

There were only about twenty of us, so I was about number twelve.There were a few other big stars there including Tyrese, Allen Payne, and Shemar Moore.

Everyone in the room was handed a particular part they were going to have to read through on an iPad. There was also light refreshments and water bottles with everyone's names on it that we could take with us.

Tyrese and I had a nice conversation before I was called in for my audition.
"Mr. Howard," the casting director said as I walked into the room. He put out his hand for me to shake.
"Please, call me Terrence," I said as I took his hand.
"Well, Terrence, let's get right to it."

I went inside and I took my mark before a panel of three judges. I introduced myself and started my audition.

I read through my lines with ease. I could tell that the judges were impressed when I looked at them and saw them smiling.

"Well done Mr. Howard." One of the judges said while everyone clapped.
"Thank you."
"It seems your done here, but expect to hear back from us real soon." Another judge said.
