I was staring a hole in Shuneal's face the whole ride home. I thought about everything I said and tried to look at it from different perspectives every time. I don't think I did anything wrong. I think Shantell just pushed the wrong button tonight and I already didn't want her at the table.

When we got to the house, Shuneal didn't open the door for me like he usually did or anything. He just grabbed Mekhi from his carseat and went inside. I went into the house with just as much attitude as he did, if not more.

The whole night we ignored each other and threw dirty looks at each other. When I laid down in the bed we didn't cuddle as usual we slept back to back. I wonder how long this is going to go on.

I pressed the end button on my cell, silencing Ashanti's voice. The ringtone was set speficially for Shuneal, and I wasn't in the mood to talk to him.
"Ya'll are still at it, I see," Cherish said as she rocked Mekhi to sleep.
Asia, who we finally convinced to leave her house, said, "I don't know why they're even playing this game. You know you love that boy, Mickey."

"What is this all about anyway?" Asia said. When I thought about it she was the cause of this. It wasn't her fault, but I realized the whole reason we were fighting was because I got in Shantell's face about her.

"Well, Shuneal and I were at this restaurant the other day. Coincidentally, Shantell and Tae showed up there, too. Shuneal invited them to our table and Shantell started talking all crazy about you- calling you Kenya and Russia. I snapped on her, and Shuneal doesn't understand why I did it, nor is he trying to undertsand."

I could see Asia's head drop. She looked like her feelings had been really hurt. That's the last thing I wanted to do.

"I don't want anybody but Tae. These rich guys are jerks and I don't want that. Tae was real and he was meant for me and now some other chick has him. I feel alone, incomplete, and just depressed. No matter how many times I tell myself it's over I know I'm fooling myself. Seeing him the other day messed me up. Having Shantell open the door knowing that should be me just made me so mad. Now I know all Tae wants to do is kick it like its nothing. I don't think I want to do that if I can't have him completely."

Cherish and I still didn't know what to say. It seemed that every time we gave her advice everything went downhill. I think it's time for Asia to start figuring everything out herself. Cherish and I have done enough mettling.

I'm guessing food was all we needed because after we ate everyone was feeling and talking a lot better. I'm glad the air was finally cleared up, or at least for a while.

Asia was finally talking about something other than Tae, and I was happy for her. All that changed when her phone rang, though.
