Shuneal being in my life had made things so much easier. I was glad I finally built up the courage to let Trey go and move on. It took many arguments and altercations to get where I am today, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Being in the type of relationship I was in with Trey made me stronger and now I can love Shuneal with my all. I love how he treats me and most importantly I love how he treats Mekhi.

"Yo, Mickey," Shuneal said, snapping me out of my thoughts. "You still getting dressed? We gotta go, baby."
"Alright," I replied. I walked out of the bathroom in the custom-made Vera Wang dress and Christian Dior heels Shuneal purchased for me. Shuneal bought both him and Mekhi black suits. "You look good, baby."
"Naw, ma, you look good."
"Are you gonna tell me where we're going now?"

I grabbed my purse and Mekhi's favorite toy truck for the car ride. Well all buckled in and I could tell by the look on Shuneal's face that he was excited.

After driving around for thirty minutes, I began to grow impatient. "Shuneal, can you please tell me where we're going?"
"Chill out, love, you'll see soon enough."
"Soon enough isn't soon enough for me."
"You know, Mickey, you have a really bad attitude sometimes."
"Excuse me?"
"I said relax for a few minutes, and you're acting like waiting will kill you."

"Ugh okay." I sat back in my chair and looked out the window.
Thirty more minutes had passed by before we pulled up to a nice restaurant. The valet opened the door for me and Shuneal and I got Mekhi out the backseat before we went inside.

Once inside, we were seated immediately in a secluded area near the back of the restaurant. A waiter came to our table and gave us menus.
"This is nice, baby," I said as I admired the restaurant's interior.

The dinner was going so great and the food was perfect. It was like a family affair with me and my two favorite guys in my life.

Shortly after I finished my food, a couple entering the restaurant caught my eye. I looked a little closer and recognized the guy as Tae.

I looked harder and saw his "new chick" Shantell. She looked like she was trying a little to hard and she was looking skanky too. She was wearing the shortest, cheapest dress she could find with these little ten cent heels she must have got from Rainbow.

I knew things couldn't be too serious between them because, even though Asia was rich and Tae wasn't exactly ballin', he kept her looking right.
"Look, babe," I said to Shuneal. "There go your boy."
"Yeah, I see him." He stood up. "I'ma see if they want to sit with us."

"What?" I said quietly.
"It's cool."
Shuneal went over to Tae and dapped him up before inviting him over. The waiter pulled up another table to they could join us.
"Hi I'm Shantell." She said reaching for my hand to shake.
"Mickey." I returned the gesture.
We all sat down and everything started off weird. Of course Tae and Shuneal didn't have any problem engaging in conversation, but me and Shantell weren't. I was using this silence as a chance to get a read on her. I wanted to see what ol' girl was about. I wanted to see why Tae is with her instead of Asia.

"Mickey!" Shuneal and Tae exclaimed, looking at me with shocked expressions.
"What? Ya'll need to be calling this broad's name. If she mentions Asia again, please believe that her lips and face will be forever apart."
"I didn't mean to offend anyone," Shantell said, looking down at the table. "I just asked her name."
"No, you just asked for a beat-down."
"Mickey, that's enough," Shuneal said. "Excuse her, Shantell."

"I'm ready to go." I said to Shuneal.
Whether he was read to or not I had Mekhi in my arms and I was heading to the door. I heard Shuneal tell Tae bye and we got in the car.
"What was that about?" He said.
"She was straight up disrespectful."
"How?"
"She wanted to play games like she didn't know Asia's name talking bout Russia and Kenya. Like don't do that. I'm not going to let her talk about Asia like that she's been through to much."

"You mean the way Asia played him? She could've gotten dude arrested for anything from child endangerment to rape. You were out of line, Mickey, and you know it."
