If you had to choose one person to call your role model, who would it be and why? Why is it imporant to have a good role model, and what traits should a role model have?
My role model is the singer Ashanti. I chose Ashanti because she is my favorite singer and she is almost exactly what I want to be when I grow up. Where she sings, I rap, but other than that, we both act, write songs and sing. I also want to own my own record label like the one she started not too long ago- Written Entertainment. It's important to have a good role model because the person that you look up to can keep you on the right path in life. If you look up to a rapper or singer that only talks about guns and drugs, you probably won't be too successful in life. Ashanti's songs Dreams and Shine remind everyone to stay focused on their goals and don't let anyone stop them from doing what they love. I respect Ashanti because she keeps her private life and her public life very seperate and only indulges in good activities as far as the pubic eye can see. A role model should be successful, inspirational, independent, and persistent. Like The Princess.
