Going to her house was the worse because I had to walk so far just to get there. After walking for a bout thirty minutes I finally reached her neighborhood. When I got to her house I rang the bell and her butler answered.

"Miss Cherish," she said, nodding and motioning for me to come in.
"Please, just call me Cherish. Where's Asia?"
"She's upstairs in her room."
"Okay."
I walked up the spiraling steps to the third floor of the house and down the hall to Asia's room. I knocked on the door.
"Go away!" she exclaimed.
I decided to let that go since she didn't know it was me who knocked. I walked into her room without permission to find her laying on the bed holding a teddy bear listening to Fantasia. She was doing worst than I thought.
"What are you doing here, Cherish?" she asked.
"Girl, if you don't get up. In here actin' like Tae left you all heartbroken. You're fifteen. Let it go." I opened the blinds and allowed some light to enter the room, then I turned off the radio. "Get up. We're going out."

"I don't want to go anywhere."
"Well we are let's go." I went into her closet and picked an outfit out for her and laid it on the bed.
"Eww I would never put that together."
"Well pick what you want and let's go."

She sucked her teeth before grabbing a form-fitting blue dress and a pair of matching heels out of her closet.
I turned around so that she could get dressed.
"Now where are we going?" she asked.
"I don't know. Let's go."

We got her chaffeur to take us to the mall and we called a cab. I wanted her and Tae to make amends. I was tired of her acting this way. When we pulled up to Tae's neighborhood Cherish looked at me like I was crazy.

"You tricked me, Cherish."
"Child, please. I didn't plan this. I tricked myself, too."
I forced her out of the car and to Tae's front door. I knocked and some chick opened the door. "Yes?"

"Umm is Tae here?" I said.
"And who wants to know?" She replied with a little too much attitude.
"Asia and Cherish."
"Who is that bae?" Tae yelled from the back.
"Somebody named Asia and Cherish."
Tae came to the door. "Oh they good. You can chill I'll be back." Tae came out the door and I could see him looking Asia up and down like he liked what he saw.

"I just want you two to clear the air." I said before walking away. I didn't go too far, but I went out of sight so I could listen.
"So umm how you been?" Tae said.
"Fine."
"I can see." Tae said biting his lip. "I mean yeah...that's good."

"Kinda. I mean, we hang out sometimes. You seeing somebody?"
"No," Asia said over enthusiastically. "I mean... No."

I came out from behind the steps and Asia was standing there at the closed door like Tae was coming back. I thought they would make amends differently, but I guess she just couldn't bring herself to it.

She nodded and turned around.. I could see tears building in her eyes. "Yeah, let's go."

We took the cab back to the mall and Asia was silent. Her driver picked her up and took her to her house. When she got in the house she ran upstairs to her room and slammed the door shut.

I didn't follow her upstairs. Instead, I asked her butler if Asia's mom was there. She told me she hadn't been home in two weeks but was supposed to be back the next day. I decided to go back then and talk to her about Asia. I left the house and called Mickey.

"Are you up?"
"Yeah I was just laying down. What's up?"
"Asia...I think Tae really broke her heart. I took her over there to see him and-"
"You what!"
"I took her to see him so they could set the record straight and well that girl was at his house."

"I thought that talking to him would speed up the healing process."
